Wintergreen Resort

Wintergreen Resort equals lots of winter fun! Rich's parents live in the Wintergreen area and are members of the resort, so we decided to take full advantage of being there and made a day full of snowy fun! There are many things to do on the mountain, of which skiing and tubing are definite favorites. Below we pose in front of the sign.
Rachel getting all bundled up in her snow suit, boots and hat! She's ready!!!

Up on the mountain, here is a look at the snow tubing run.

She looked so small inside of her tube... how cute!

Pictures with Santa Claus!

We took Rachel for her annual picture with Santa Claus and she had a fun time. She looked adorable all dressed up in her Christmas dress. We thought she looked so grown up! We enjoyed a family picture with Santa and then Rachel told himwhat she wanted for Christmas this year. We made sure that she knew she was on the "Nice List" since she has been such a good girl this year! We had a really nice time and were so glad to capture her smiling!

Here's a flash back to last year's picture. Can you believe how much she has changed? Our little angel is growing up so fast! It's exciting and sad all at the same time... Mostly exciting because it's so fun to watch her grow!!!

After pictures we took Rachel over to the play area in the mall and let her run around and have some fun! She always enjoys going to this play area because it has a tree house that she can climb up and then slide down the slide!

Elmo Slippers!

Rachel was so excited to get these Elmo slippers. As you can see, she loved putting them on and walking around the house!

Playing in the Bookcase

This was so cute! One day Rachel decided to remove all the books and toys out of the bottom shelf and then climb right in. I thought it was so funny and had to take a few snap shots to capture her playing in her new-found spot!

Our November

Okay, so it's been far too long since I lasted posted (Halloween) so I will now attempt to catch everyone up on the past two months! We first begin with November! We celebrated my 29th Birthday! My friend Mindy came over with a beautiful cake, yummy lunch and her two wonderful children to celebrate during the afternoon. We had a great time!

My parents took us out to dinner at Carraba's italian restraunt, which was lots of fun and, as always, a delicious meal! (Sadly, no picture with my parents in it... I must be slacking when it comes to getting a shot with us all in it!)

Rachel played lots of piano with Daddy....

And post-it notes were a hit when she discovered them. She loved taking them off one at a time and sticking them all over... including all over Daddy!!!
